Love their vets, but their pharmacy sucks! I love the vets, they’re attentive, thorough and provide good info. They can be a bit over-conservative with the amount of recommended tests, but you can always say no. The new pharmacy system is unacceptable. They automatically send your prescription there unless you ask for a paper prescription at checkout. The online website charges for shipping if you want it sooner than 3 day ($15 for 2-3 or $20 for 1-2 day). The medicine, which has a maximum recommended storage temperature of 77F, arrived in a regular box, without any insulation nor cold pack in 100F North Carolina summer. In another occasion, they sold me a medicine they had in stock at the store which expired before my recommended treatment period ended. They were kind enough to exchange it at no cost later, not without trying to convince me it was okay. Both events since they changed their pharmacy around 2025. Again, love the vets, don’t buy any medicine from them or their online pharmacy

I highly recommend this vet. I’ve been to many vets across the almost 10 years with my dog Lucci (2 different ones around this area) and this one by far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Cody is so caring. My dog is very complicated and has multiple conditions. She spent over 2 hours with me making sure she got all the facts straight, called me after our appointment to review what we went over, and continuously checked in on Lucci after the fact. She even called the previous vet my dog had surgery at and wait on hold for 40 plus minutes just to get more informed about his case. Besides that, she went through all his records and found mistakes other vets didn’t care to look into. I can’t say how much we appreciate Dr. Cody,” and her attentiveness and care for our dog. Plus, I would like to add that this place doesn’t try to upsell you or make you feel like they just want to line their pockets. They truly care, which many of the vets in the area you feel like this. I’ll definitely be returning and trusting them with my dog’s care for the rest of his life. Thank you so much!

Usually I’m met with some of the nicest people and customer care. But I made a call after my dog got attacked when she was with her dog sitter, i emphasized the urgency and how it was my pugs moment of need but they did not care and answered rudely to polite questions. I used to come here frequently for my dogs check-ins. Now I’m unsure…

My dog is an established patient here, but we haven't been for a while. He has another vet that has limited openings. His paw needed to be seen and the regular vet couldn't get to it and I scheduled an appointment at northwoods for another day which was rather farther out in the future than I would have liked. I had scheduled a vet tech appointment for a nail clipping to see if maybe that was part of the issue and then they called back and declined to see him to clip his nails because of the passage of time. I get that there's office policies, but a patient is a patient. This was a vet tech appointment for a nail clipping. I take good care of my dogs and bring them in when they have any sign of being off. I really dont get why the tech couldn't just clip his nails like they said they would as a first step. It's frustrating to be jerked around like this. I know I still have the other appointment, but I don't know how I feel about bringing him there now after they rejected a tech appoitnment simply because he hadn't been there for a while.
