Fix A Friend Spay Neuter Clinic

They neutered a semi-feral cat that I trapped. I asked for additional services, deworming, flea, tick & they also checked the poor guys ears & treated for mites. Attentive to even all critters regardless of owner or no owner!

FAF is a huge asset to the community and provides affordable services while also making sure all animals receive quality care. I have used them multiple times now for foster dogs and a couple of my own cats that were picked up as strays. They also do a lot of work to help with TNR and feral cat colonies. Check in/out has always gone smoothly and the team is very friendly.

I had my purebred Siamese kitten neutered at Fix a Friend Clinic on Monday, September 21, and we had a great experience. Both ladies at the front desk were friendly, professional, and made the check-in and pickup process easy. I’ll be the first to admit that I was nervous about bringing my kitten here after reading a few of the negative reviews mentioning pets becoming sick, or worse, after their visit. Because of that, I wanted to wait a full week before leaving my own review. It’s now been 7 days, and my boy is doing perfectly fine. You honestly wouldn’t even know he had surgery a week ago. His incision looks great, his recovery has been easy, and he was back to acting like himself in no time. For anyone who has similar concerns about using a high-volume clinic, I would definitely recommend making sure your pet is fully vaccinated beforehand and following all of the clinic’s pre- and post-op instructions. Any environment where a large number of animals are coming and going can carry some risk of exposure to contagious illnesses, so having your pet appropriately vaccinated beforehand can help reduce that risk. Based on our experience, I would absolutely feel comfortable using Fix a Friend Clinic again. I’m very happy with the care my kitten received and especially grateful that his recovery has been so smooth.

I completed all my forms online ahead of time and had a confirmed 7:30 AM appointment. I arrived at 7:50 AM to find a line wrapped around the building with zero signage, instructions, or staff present to direct people. After waiting in line for 50 minutes, the employee at the desk claimed they had no record of my appointment. When I showed her my confirmation email, she refused to see my dog, claiming she had made a "last call" at 8:00 AM—despite the fact that I was standing in line at 8:00 AM and no staff ever stepped outside to check on the queue. I was simply handed a card and told to reschedule. It was clear they were severely understaffed—they were literally having other customers carry cats into rooms for them. Extremely disappointing experience and total lack of respect for people's time.
