I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Bonilla and her entire team. They have taken exceptional care of my dog, Zara, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done for her. Everyone there is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about the animals they treat. They take the time to explain what’s going on, answer questions, and make sure you feel comfortable with the plan moving forward. I’ve never felt rushed or like Zara was just another patient. It means a lot knowing I have a veterinarian and team that I completely trust with her care. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet who truly cares about both their patients and their owners.

Last week, when I picked up my dog from grooming, I asked whether they could issue a prescription for Simparica Trio. They recommended that I order it through Chewy, which would then send the prescription request to the vet for approval. I placed the order and paid $235, but the prescription has been pending for two days. I sent a chat message this morning with no response, then called and left a voicemail before someone from the clinic finally called me back. They told me they cannot approve a tick and heartworm prevention prescription because my dog is due for his annual medical exam at the end of October. This is a monthly medication and I don’t have to tell a vet office why they are making ZERO sense. Until today, I believed the clinic’s messaging about caring for pets, but this experience makes those claims feel hollow. I do not understand why an annual wellness visit should determine approval for a routine preventive medication like Simparica Trio. Although this clinic is conveniently located near me, requiring an in-person visit for something as basic as a tick and heartworm prevention prescription says a lot about how disconnected they are from the mission statement they promote. I am very disappointed.

They always do their best to get us in, even on short notice. I can't say enough good things about Passionate Paws and the entire team. Highly recommend to anyone that wants the best care for their pets.
