Lake Country Animal Hospital

Dr. Parker and the entire staff at Lake Country Animal Hospital have gone above and beyond to provide the best possible care for my dog, Alexander. Alexander is at rest now but I can truly say he absolutely had the best care for the 13 yrs I took him to Lake Country. My pets have gone to Lake Country for over 20 yrs and it has always been a good experience- compassion and understanding always. Thanks to Dr. Parker, Dr. Lawrence and the entire staff for caring for Mollie, Zoe and Alexander!!!!

I had an emergency with my cat, he had a bladder block with crystals, I called and the vet was in surgery, they had to wait to see if she could fit him in after her surgery, all the mean while my baby was in pain and I was trying to comfort him, I called back to check and she kinda had an attitude, no sympathy, nothing ..pretty much said I could find someone else to help him...ok...few mins later she called me back and said that the vet could not do it, but he definitely need to be seen by someone.. No you don't say! So lacross vet end up helping him and they were fast, we were only there 30 to 45 mins with him....im sorry but his issue was a life to death matter and lake country was not willing to " squeeze " him in to help him..really sad, if it was me I would of worked over if someone called in dire need, ..to save a person's fur baby..

I would highly recommend you do not use this veterinarian clinic. I have been a client of theirs for 20 years and the practice has drastically changed. They best Dr. they had retired in 2025 and the remaining Dr. Parker is a rude individual with absolute horrible bed side manner for the owner as well as your pet. I carried my English Bulldog of 13 years to be euthanized from deteriorating health. She entered the room with no sympathy. She had the needle with explanation of what would happen. I’ve been through this many times with numerous pets over the years. She explained that he would become sleepy in about 5 minutes and she would be back. She left myself, my son and my dog in the room for 22 minutes before I opened the door and demanded someone come in. You are not suppose to witness your pet suffering and fighting and looking at you with confusion at what’s happening. I was told Dr. Parker was in another room doing another euthanasia and would be there shortly. REALLY???? When she finally entered the room it was straight to him with the needle. Not one word was said to us. She checked his vitals and said… he’s gone and left the room. She turned the worst day of a pet owner into a horrible day. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!!!!! Dr. Parker is a cruel veterinarian and I hope she’s treated worse somewhere in her lifetime 😥🌈
