We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful facility full of amazing vets in our area. I have been working with 3H for about 3 years now and they have always gone above and beyond in the care of my horses. They are knowledgeable, attentive, and compassionate. Dr. Fernando and his team are first class. I have had the privilege to work with 4 of the veterinarians on staff and all of them have been phenomenal. The personalized care they give each case is second to none. This year I have had 2 different cases where horses needed weeks of care. With each case the team kept me informed, sent pictures and answered every question I had. I always felt like I knew exactly what was happening with my horses. I’m thankful for this great team!

I came to 3H Dr. Cardenas and his team with urgency. They were able to immediately (within 24 hours) admit my horse to their facility. Since the moment he began his rehab until the moment he left, everyone has been excellent. The facility is excellent. The barn provides wonderful ventilation, the rehab "amenities" are top notch-water treadmills, treadmill, vibe plate, and SO much more. Every horse gets their uniquely tailored rehab plan written up on a board daily. They staff and team are so organized. Dr. Cardenas is prompt in communicating with you about your horse, their needs, etc. Your horse will be in phenomenal hands when they go here.

Without question the most dreadful and devastating experience I have ever had in my entire life with a professional practice of any kind was at 3H. My horse had to be euthanized as a result of the "care" at 3H. My mare Rio was recovering from surgery at the vet school and she needed rehab. I have known and worked with Fernando for nearly 20 years so I didn't think twice about sending her there. The office manager was extremely rude and dismissive, and the Vet in charge of her case completely dropped the ball: -Phone calls not returned -Meds never sent when prescribed -Billed for meds that were never administered -Vet School discharge papers never read -Mare could not get up in stall, got a terrible scrape/cut and got bedsores from the laminitis that progressed to irrecoverable during her stay there. Dr. Koster was the ONLY person who took any interest in the situation when it became clear my horse was in trouble; she contacted me to say she would handle the case but it was too late. I have never cried so much in my life. Rio was the sweetest kindest animal I've ever owned and a member of my family; If I hadn't trusted Fernando so much this never would have happened; and even worse he sent me a condolence text which was clearly not written by him. Now, to top it off, he is billing me for 6 weeks of board and it's been over a year since this tragedy occurred. Disgusting.
