We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care and compassion we've received from the entire team. They have always taken wonderful care of our pets, but over the past few months they have truly gone above and beyond. Not only did they make time to fit us into their already busy schedule, but they treated our cat with the same love and concern as if he was their own. When he needed a specialized surgery they couldn't perform in-house, they took the time to help us find the right veterinarian and guided us through the process every step of the way. Even while caring for emergency cases and a full schedule, the staff never made us feel rushed. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion gave us comfort during a very stressful time. We are so appreciative of everything you've done for our family. Thank you for your dedication and for treating both him and my family with such care. We have been bringing our fur babies to Moyock animal hospital for I think close to 6 years now. We transitioned over from Elizabeth City while we were living in Camden due to our older kitties thyroid treatment needs. Every single staff member treats your animal not as such but as a fur baby and as if they were one of their own. They took amazing care of our sweet Roo Boy through his end of life at 16 years old. They were always compassionate and cared. We continue to bring all of our sweet animals there now. Most recently our 3 1/2 year old Goldendoodle managed to get into a garbage bag that had sat out for about 10 minutes, and not thinking after dinner I had put four whole corn cobs on the top of the bag. I had pulled the bag out of the trash can in the kitchen and was going to put it right outside but I got distracted by my kiddos. We didn't even realize until the next morning that she actually got into the garbage when she started throwing up corn cob... actual pieces with corn still intact on the cob. I still can't believe that she was able to swallow the pieces that size and get it back up without choking. MAH originally told me they were sadly full for the day and to maybe take her to an emergency vet, but as soon as the front desk talked to the vet in the back they made room for us and got her right in. They spent an entire day having her do scans as well as IV fluids trying to see if there's a possibility of her passing these pieces. They did absolutely everything they could to try and prevent surgery... but when the radiologist report came back from the ultrasound that she was completely impacted with large cob pieces they called me right away and explain the process of the abdominal exploratory surgery. When I tell you our sweet pup is literally like our third child, everyone in that office treated her as such. Every single person I talk to from the front desk to the vet tech to the vets themselves made sure not only to explain everything and show care but also make sure I knew that as much as I was blaming myself, that it does happen and I am not a bad doggy mom. I can't even tell you how thankful me and my family are that they cared so much about Penny, they took such great care of her and because of that she will be here with us for years to come. Dr Tracy and Dr Kim are absolutely wonderful and I am so thankful they are part of our community. Laura is one of the most knowledgeable vet techs ive ever spoken with and truly cares. Even when news has been not the greatest, I am thankful to hear her voice because I know she is so compassionate in every situation. Some have mentioned to me that they might be a little more expensive than other vets, however the care they offer is above and beyond and I happily bring all of our fur babies there. They do also work with Care Credit and provide 12 months no interest through them. I really never sat and compared pricing so I dont really have any idea what their cost is vs others. Just always thankful for GREAT care.
