I can't say enough good things about Tar River Veterinary Hospital! My dog Kosho received excellent care for 14 years ( he's passed now) Dr. Goldman and staff went above and beyond to give the care he needed. I would recommend them to anyone.

Staff is far from friendly or competent. Was treated like an idiot for not being an animal expert (didn't know a newly adopted cat had been spayed- yet they opened her up even though she had a HUGE surgical scar on her abdomen), despite them knowing I have never owned a cat before. Don't bring your animals unless you are okay with animals going through senseless pain and veterinarians who apply zero of their veterinarian education to situations.
