Western Wake Veterinary Services

Brilliant veterinarian with decades worth of experience. His dedication to animals can’t be overstated.

Thank you Dr. Russell for seeing my high needs kitty! He could not visit the clinic without being sedated but everything went smoothly with you seeing him at home! Thank you also for the insights and extra education about how to work with my long haired cats. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Dr. Russell is extremely knowledgable and has decades of experience on a wide variety of animals. My family has been using him for years and I cannot recommend him enough. The convenience of having a vet come to your house when your dog or animal hates trips to the vet is a huge plus. Probably one of the best if not the best veterinarians in the Wake County area.

Been with them for over 20 years. Would not trust our pet care to anyone else.

We have been very happy with Johnson Russell through a number of pets and years. He’s a great diagnostician, is willing to spend time and explain, and makes house calls, which makes seeing him convenient and a lot less stressful for our pets. He has helped us end the lives of 4 long-time pets, not an easy job, but one he does compassionately. If he treated humans, he’d be my primary doctor!
